Earthwork, drainage and reinforced concrete works

The earthwork includes the movement of earth necessary for the foundation and the bearing plate.

This applies to a plane site covered with topsoil. The top edge of the future hall floor corresponds to the present site top edge. Our prices apply to a soil pressure of 0.25 MN/m² (which is usually the case) and an inner friction angle of at least 30°; soil class 3-4, dump class 1 (Z=0)

Earthwork services

  • Removing, loading and carrying away the existing topsoil.

  • Excavation (ditch for the foundation), including isolated foundation and continuous footing as machine excavation, foundation ditch measurement according to the size of the building plus working space.
Storage of the excavated material for refilling, earth which is not needed will be carried away.

  • Pipe trenches in required width for drainage system directly at the hall including sand bedding filling and gradient according to local conditions.

  • Supplying and embedding mineral mix or recycling material as needed for the underneath construction of the bearing plate.

Drainage services

  • Main conduits for rainwater sewers for the building made of hard PVC plastic pipes, including pipe branches, pipe bends, bushings, cover lids etc.

  • For the draining of the water we provide a collector pipe at a distance of 1 m parallel to the building’s outer wall, which connects to the branching pipes from the building.

  • The pipes are led to a collecting transfer shaft for the rainwater, distance to the building up to 10 m.

  • Special measures or requirements of the approval authority such as lifting systems are not included.

Reinforced concrete services

  • Granular subbase for all block foundations and continuous footing, made of unreinforced concrete.

  • Reinforced individual/strip foundations in frost-proof depth, including all formwork, anchor elements, reinforcement and concrete (B25).

  • Installation and connection of flat bars as earthing in various lengths into the individual/strip foundations.

  • Surrounding reinforced concrete parts in fair-faced concrete-quality as footing elements with a 4 cm-core insulation.

  • Fibre concrete bearing plates for a fork lift truck-load (7.5 to) and a load per surface (evenly distributed) of 5 to/m², thickness of bearing plate as required according to structural calculations; including concrete pump, mechanical trowelling by trowelling machines, evenness of the surface according to DIN 18202 table 3 line 3. Cutting in shrinkage gaps at a distance of 5 m without sealing.
